Explore the Work ↗I'm Elmer, the photographer behind EVMagic Studios. My creative journey began in film and video, where I worked in the film industry and was a member of Local 600. That experience shaped the way I see light, composition, movement, and the power of a moment to tell a story.
I eventually stepped away from the film industry to pursue a career in the court system, but I never left my creative side behind. Photography became the way I continued to explore it, camera in hand, finding beauty in real people and the moments that matter to them.
Today, EVMagic Studios brings those two chapters together: a cinematic eye informed by years in visual storytelling, and a personal passion for creating photographs that feel honest, intentional, and timeless. I take on a select number of sessions so each story gets the attention it deserves.

My love for visual storytelling doesn't stop at photography. On TikTok, I share another side of my creativity through food videos and my series, “What's in Elmer's Bag Today?” It's a chance to have fun on camera, explore new flavors, and connect with people through video.
Whether I'm composing a portrait or filming a food review, that same curiosity, eye for detail, and passion for telling a story carries through.
